Pooja has Juris Doctor degree from the University of New South Wales and has done Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. In 2019, she was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. She first developed an interest in Family Law whilst studying at University and working at Kingsford Legal Centre. Prior to joining the team at Kaur Legal, she has worked with various law firms where she gained wealth of knowledge in Administrative, Immigration and Corporate Law. Pooja currently handles both parenting and property disputes, including divorce applications, relocations cases and preparation for Interim and Final Hearings. She is compassionate, friendly and has a pragmatic and detail orientated approach enabling her to provide holistic support and advice to her clients. She has a passion for social justice and a keen interest in matters involving children. She has a strong knowledge of court procedure and has extensive experience in communicating with clients, solicitors and barristers and has represented clients in Courts and Tribunals, both at a Commonwealth and State level.
In her spare time, Pooja enjoys bushwalking, reading and gardening.
